After finishing Top 4 in the League and Runners-Up in the Top 4 Cup, we are looking for an accomplished goalkeeper to join the team.

The team is led by an experienced coach and has a strong support team behind the scenes.
The role also has the potential for the player to train with our affiliated State League team, Ashfield and be in contention to play for them if required.

Wednesday 20th September - Metro Men Division 4

Lynwood United 1
Warnbro Strikers 4

Despite only winning three times this season and conceding 129 goals, the Warnbro Strikers boys stepped up/ stepped down to Metros and worked hard to carve out a 4-1 win over our newest Metro Mens team.
Despite the loss, the guys have done exceptionally well in their first year finishing fifth in the league. Looking forward to seeing them all return in 2024 for another dance on the dancefloor. .

Friday 22nd September - Metro Men Division 2

MUMFC 2
Lynwood United 2

Needing a minimum of six unanswered goals to win the league over Kelmscott Roos, Lynwood United's Metro Men Div2 team worked hard but struggled to get more than 2 past a physical MUMFC side.
The game at times was cynical and by all accounts, borderline dirty, but MUMFC had a game plan and they stuck to it.
Despite drawing 2-2, the result left our Metro Mens Division 2 team in second placing picking up promotion to Division 1.

Congratulations to Luke Reilly and his Division 2 squad for their efforts this year. Let's hope they don't encounter as many forfeits in Division 1 like they had this year in Division 2. #lynwoodarmy

On Sunday, our Metro Women Yellow team took on Kwi On Sunday, our Metro Women Yellow team took on Kwinana United in their last game of the season. Like our Over 35s, they unfortunately have a bye in the last round.

The girls unfortunately lost 5-3 with goals coming from Evie Coghlan (2) and Tahlia Carter (1).

This was the first year of having two Metro Womens Teams and despite the grading issues, forfeits and excessive byes, they have finished the season in a respectable mid-table position.

Well done to the squad and we look forward to seeing you all return next year. #lynwoodarmy

In a hard fought contest, Lynwood United's Under 1 In a hard fought contest, Lynwood United's Under 14s Girls team went head-to-head with Carramar Shamrock Rovers in an Under 14s Top 4 Cup Semi Final.

Despite every player putting in 110%, the Lynwood United girls were unable to finish on the winning side with them unfortunately losing 3-1.

This was an exception effort from the team to reach this far in the competition with 12/15 of the girls being first year Under 14s players. Despite losing the game to a very physical Carramar Shamrock Rovers, the girls never dropped their heads and fought hard right to the end. Proper Lynwood spirit. #lynwoodarmy

Sunday 10th September was the last outing for our Sunday 10th September was the last outing for our Over 35s for Season 2023. Despite losing 5-2 to FC Shoalwater, the guys were still able to produce some magic moments.

Housewives favourite Josef Tomancak launches a hand rocket deep into the box, to which a Lynwood United player (Andy Brooks, possibly Paul Gibson, but most likely Andy Brooks) finishes with a well executed goal.

The 35s off-season starts early due to them having a bye in the last round. Well done to everyone involved.
