Equal Footingball

Equal Footingball is a Football West program that provides a club environment and suitable training with fortnightly competition.

Participants are an important part of the Lynwood United Football Club where they engage in regular training sessions and matches during the winter competition season. Equal Footingball promotes the 4 F’s: Fun, Friendship, Family and of course…Football.

The Equal Footingball program comprises of six clubs within the Perth metro region with four divisions that are available for people with disabilities to find their game.

Coaches and coordinators will allocate player divisions based on ability with consideration for players overall goals and safety in mind.

Division 1:

Equal Footingball Division 1 is recommended for those players who seek competition, are highly skilled, take their football very seriously and aim to compete in State and National Pathways.

Division 2:

Equal Footingball Division 2 caters for those players who have developed skills and game awareness while still enjoying the social aspects of the game. This division is more competitive with most players working on potentially moving to Division 1.

Division 3:

Equal Footingball Division 3 caters to those players who have learnt the basics and are developing skills, game awareness and have the ability to participate in basic match play with some support.

Division 4:

Equal Footingball Division 4 is the entry level division that caters for those who have limited football experience or ability and who require support on the pitch. This is the division for those that love to have a go and is lot’s of fun. We encourage parent participation at this level.
